(How My Satellite Dish Biz Revolutionized my Media Experience)
Two Long Years:
I can't beleive that I had an HD (HDMI) capable television for two years, before I decided to get "Hooked Up" with My Dish Satellite!
It has been an incredible transformation. We bought our big screen TV a couple of years ago. I was never that much of a television watcher until Fibromyalgia slowed my life down to a snails pace. Most days, I am lucky to make it through a work day and by the time I get home, I am thoroghly wiped out. My lovely wife bought me a big screen TV about two years ago because I started watching more television and she wanted me to enjoy the experience. She even bought me a surround sound system which I thought was one of the most considerate gifts I had ever received. The combination of Big Screen and Surround Sound was terrific. But I did not know what else I was missing out on...
TWO YEARS LATER... That's when it happened. Although I loved my new TV, I was sick and tired of flipping through thirty or forty channels to find that there was absolutely nothing interesting on cable. How many times can a person enjoy the same old reruns of 'Law & Order'. I am more of a History and Discovery viewer anyway, but repeats of crab fishing and dirty jobs, just weren't cutting it for me. It gets rather stale after the third or fourth time.
It was about this point that I chanced upon a web site from VMC Satellite that promised me over two hundred channels for the same price I was paying for cable. But the things that revolutionized my television experience were really the Free DVR (how did I go so long without this little gem?), and plenty of Fresh High Definition Channels to view.
If you have never watched television in High Definition, you don't have a clue what your missing out on. The picture clarity is about three times better on my television than a standard channel. HDTV will "Rock your World". Especially on programs that feature wildlife, history and sports. It's absolutely amazing.
To say that I feel Spoiled, would be an understatement and I was impressed with every other aspect of Dish Network Service... Right down to the extremely young technition who was able to set it all up and fine tune it in a matter of a couple of hours. (My first satellite dish was a ten foot monster that took several days to assemble, install, fine tune, etc...
Here is what I am trying to tell you. If you don't have HDTV you need it. Some of you are like I was, you already own an HD capable television, but you haven't even seen it in action. If you watch alot of TV, do yourself and your family a favor and get hooked up with HDTV from VMC Satellite and Dish Network. You'll never be sorry you did.
